Speakers are asked to bring a copy of their their PowerPoint presentation in widescreen 16:9 format to the Speaker Ready Area (near the registration desk) on a USB storage device. The presentation computers will run on Windows 10 - PowerPoint 2016.
Please upload your presentation no later than 12 hours prior to the start of your session. If your talk contains multimedia files, we ask that you embed these files directly in your Powerpoint presentation. However, please be sure to also bring a copy of these files to the conference just in case they have to be re-inserted into your presentation. Please let the Registration staff know if your presentation contains either audio or video.
Speakers should arrive at their session room at least 15 minutes prior to start of the session to introduce themselves to the session chair. As a backup please bring a copy of your presentation on USB to the session room.
A NOTE TO MAC USERS
Mac users should not use "drag-and-drop" to insert pictures and video files. Most problems, such as the infamous "red x" are the result of this practice. Using the "INSERT' command from the menu options should eliminate these issues. All PowerPoint files must have either the .ppt or .pptx suffix to be accepted. QuickTime movies (.MOV) must be converted to a PC compatible format before submission.
